What are our members up to? Members of the MWC enjoy dining, dancing and entertainment, social networking, seminars and guest speakers, creative and educational classes and much more. We’d like to share a few with you to get to know our Club. What is the Madison Winter Club? What do we do? The Madison Winter Club is a social club with a variety of activities for members. Dinners We have a resident chef who prepares absolutely wonderful meals for our events. In a typical week, there is an informal dinner Thursday night and another dinner Saturday night. Bill Charlap with Tony Bennett

Win Grammy

Bill Charlap, the jazz pianist who captivated the audience at his concert on October 19, 2014 at the Madison Congregational Church, sponsored by the Madison Winter Club, has won a Grammy with Tony Bennett for best traditional pop album, “The Silver Lining: The Songs of Jerome Kern.”
Charlap, in accepting the award, was quick to say that he didn’t do it on his own. “I want to thank God, I want to thank my beautiful wife Renee Rosnes,” Charlap said; Rosnes, a pianist, also appears on the album. More thanks went to, among others, his musical colleagues bassist Peter Washington and drummer Kenny Washington; . . . . . . .
